Nolan joined the law firm of Cavitch Familo & Durkin in January 2018 of Counsel. He later became an associate attorney, and recently elected to shareholder with the firm and practices in the areas of general corporate law, real estate law, mergers and acquisitions, capital and finance, and estate planning.
Nolan serves as a strategic advisor for families and individuals. In his Estate Planning practice, Nolan tailors his approach to meet the specific needs of his clients and to minimize income, gift, estate and generation-skipping taxes. In his Corporate practice, Nolan provides general counsel to nonprofits and privately held businesses at various stages of growth. He offers strategic guidance on a wide variety of corporate matters, including business formation, business succession planning, and negotiating commercial lease agreements, loan agreements and employment agreements. Nolan’s combination of legal and business experience helps him develop innovative solutions for complex legal issues.
Nolan earned his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Akron School of Law and College of Business Administration. He received his undergraduate degree where he double majored in International Business and Hispanic Studies from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and a proud graduate of St. Ignatius High School, Nolan is very active in his community. He resides in Strongsville, Ohio with his wife Allison, and their sons Nolan III “Trey”, and Oliver.
Nolan is licensed to practice in Ohio and Florida.
