Morgan A. Schweighoefer joined the law firm of Cavitch Familo & Durkin in Spring of 2021 as an associate attorney. Morgan is a member of the Litigation Practice Group, Estate Planning Group, and Business Law Group and focuses her practice in the areas of general business litigation, family law, probate matters and estate planning.
Morgan has advised clients on matters related to these issues, such as business and non-profit formation, business succession planning, employment contract preparation and review, divorces and dissolutions of marriage, child support, custody and custody modification, lease preparations and review, residential and commercial evictions, as well as other general business matters and litigation.
Morgan earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law, Cum Laude, in December of 2020. Throughout law school, Morgan was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Society and participated in numerous volunteer activities.
Prior to law school, Morgan earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the College of Wooster, and her Master of Public Administration from Kent State University with a focus on public management. In her spare time, Morgan enjoys paddleboarding, hiking with her dog, and reading.
