Marcus L. Notaro joined the law firm of Cavitch Familo & Durkin in August of 2018 as an associate attorney. Marcus is a member of the Business Practice Group, concentrating on corporate law, state and federal taxation, commercial financing, and real estate transactional matters.
Marcus earned his Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, summa cum laude, in May of 2018. Prior to law school, Marcus worked for a boutique business consulting firm in Cleveland, Ohio, and for the Cleveland State University Center for Economic Development. Throughout law school, Marcus worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and externed for the Cleveland-Marshall Transactional Law Clinic, where he assisted non-profit corporations with various formation, governance and transactional matters. As a law student, Marcus was honored with the Suggs I. Garber Award for the Highest Academic Grade Average in Courses in Business Organizations and Taxation.
Marcus received his undergraduate degree in Economics from John Carroll University, and has a master’s degree in Urban Planning and Development from Cleveland State University’s Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs
