Madilyn M. Maruna joined the law firm of Cavitch Familo & Durkin in April of 2019 as an associate attorney. Madi is a member of the Litigation Practice Group and focuses her practice in the areas of employment and business litigation.
Madi earned her Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, magna cum laude, in December of 2018. Prior to law school, Madi worked for a financial compliance firm in Cleveland, Ohio, and for a China-based manufacturer. Throughout law school, Madi was a member of Cleveland-Marshall’s flagship law review journal and externed for the Cleveland-Marshall Civil Litigation Clinic, where she assisted with the representation of clients in immigration and unemployment matters. During that time, Madi also served as a law clerk for Jackson Lewis, P.C. and Tittle & Perlmuter.
Madi earned her undergraduate degree in Marketing, cum laude, with a minor in Entrepreneurship, from John Carroll University.
Madi volunteers her time with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3Rs program, where she helps high school students in Cleveland and East Cleveland schools understand the U.S. Constitution and discusses ways students can achieve their goals beyond high school. Madi is also a City Dogs volunteer at the Cleveland Kennel. In her spare time, Madi enjoys spending time with family, practicing yoga, cooking, and relaxing with her dog, Hendrix.
