Angela Thi Bennett joined Cavitch Familo & Durkin in 2018. Angela’s legal practice is concentrated in the areas of corporate, real estate, commercial transactions, and community development. In addition to her legal practice, Angela currently serves as the is the Director of Programming and Development for the Cleveland Police Foundation.
Throughout her career Angela has played many instrumental roles within the community serving as the Superintendent of OAK Leadership Institute, a community school in an under-served area in Cleveland; being appointed by Governor John Kasich to the State Board of Education, and serving as chairperson of the Achievement and Urban Committees; as well as serving as director of the East Cleveland Department of Community Development and head of the Department of Building and Housing.
Angela received her B.A., J.D. and M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and is a member of the Case Western Reserve University Law Alumni Association board, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and the Asian American Bar Association of Cleveland. As a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Cleveland chapter, and volunteer for Junior Achievement. Angela is committed to improving the quality of life and educational opportunities for all children.
Angela is the proud mom of Britney, Brett Jr., and Bryce. Britney is currently a JD/MBA student at Case.
