Katie Kirby

Katie focuses her practice on domestic relations, handling primarily divorce, child custody and support disputes, post-decree modifications of parental rights and responsibilities, and domestic violence. Katie has successfully tried cases involving family disputes in multiple counties, including Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Summit. In addition, Katie serves a Guardian Ad Litem in both Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court and Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court. Katie understands the sensitive nature of her area of practice in family law and ensures her clients are confident in their choice of legal representation.

Katie received her Juris Doctor Degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University in 2010. In 2006, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in History from Denison University. During college, Katie volunteered with legal aid. During law school, Katie worked as a law clerk at Zashin & Rich where she developed her passion for family law.

Katie is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and family, reading, traveling, and running with her dog, Buckley. Katie is a native of the Cleveland, Ohio area.
